If you’re a family affected by childhood cancer, we’re here for you.

We hold lots of free events throughout the year for children affected by cancer and their families. Over the years, 75,000 guests have joined us at these amazing days out, which help families to create precious memories away from the hospital ward. Our events are also a great way for families to meet and form support networks with others who are going through similar experiences. If you’re a family affected by childhood cancer, we’d love to welcome you to one of our events soon.

Our family days out are currently on hold. If you would like to be informed about our virtual events and activities as well as kept up to date with future events, sign up to our family newsletter at the bottom of this page

Frequently asked questions about our family events

All families affected by childhood cancer are welcome to join us. This includes children currently going through cancer treatment, as well as children who have finished cancer treatment. We completely understand that the effects of childhood cancer can continue past the end of treatment and that children may have missed out on many events during treatment.

Our family events are there to support all children and young people affected by cancer within the age range of 0-24.

We require all children under the age of 18 to have a parent or legal guardian with them at all of our events.

We want to ensure as many families as possible have the opportunity to attend our events. For this reason, we limit tickets to 6 per family and ask that this is immediate family only. However, we do understand that some families may require more than 6 tickets, so we ask that these families get in touch with us directly when applying for an event.

We usually approve applications to our family days out on a first come first served basis. However, we also take into consideration the number of events a family has already attended in the year to try and give each family equal opportunity.
