The Tour de Branch was a physically challenging fundraiser, and had more than 60 employees from RS Components taking part. The 12 day course called at each of the 16 RS Components local branches nationwide, and averaged a daily mileage of around 90 miles and a climb to an altitude of 5,700 metres through Scotland in the first week. Just four strenuous cyclists took on the entire route, which finished at the company’s headquarters in Pancras Square on the 19 June 2019.
RS Components have been supporting Children with Cancer UK since 2017 as its chosen national charity, with employees taking part in activities such as marathons, mountain climbing, swimming, cycling, baking and dancing, with The Tour de Branch being their biggest challenge yet! Now, a year after the challenge, the RS Components team have not only hit their target raising £250,000 – they have also unveiled a fantastic documentary that followed this unique fundraiser from start to finish.
