When a family receives the devastating news that their child is diagnosed with childhood cancer everyone in that child’s life is forever changed. Every child and young adult that goes through cancer’s life is precious, and so are the lives of those that surround and support them. The siblings who silently, stoically push aside their own anxieties, and need for love and attention, because they know that family life now is all about treating and caring for their brother or sister with cancer.

When a family goes through the unspeakable and loses their child to childhood cancer, life will never be same. Therefore, we are developing a beautiful holiday retreat for families who desperately need the break and the chance to make precious, happy memories. A retreat that allows families to escape the day-to-day stresses and worries, to cherish each other’s company, reflect on their journey and meet families with similar stories. Every journey is different, but every family deserves to take a step back and breathe.
