For World Cancer Day, we asked families affected by childhood cancer to share their stories. These detail their journeys, as well as showing why it’s so important to donate, helping to fund breakthrough research and keep families together.

Charlotte was diagnosed with leukaemia in 2006 when she was 13 years old. Charlotte has run the London Marathon for Children with Cancer UK.
Felix was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia at 10 years old in 2016. Felix finishes his treatment in April 2019.
Louis was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia at 19 months old and he is in remission.
Luke was diagnosed with hepatoblastoma, a very rare cancer when he was just six months old. Luke is now 10 years in remission. Read more about his liver cancer story.
Isaac was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia in 2015. He’s still on his treatment plan, however, he’s due to finish this year!
Kodie was diagnosed with Wilms’ tumour and had his kidney removed during treatment. He’s now in remission.
Owen was diagnosed with Wilms’ tumour when he was 4. His treatment was successful and he’s been in remission for 5 years!
In 2014, Josh was diagnosed with Burkitt’s lymphoma, he was 3 years old. After a challenging time with his chemotherapy treatment, he’s now been in remission for 5 years.
