About the Barcelona Marathon 2024

The Barcelona Marathon is one of the most popular in Europe.  The course takes you through the centre of the city and includes main landmarks such as the Camp Nou (the home of Barcelona FC), Sagrada Familia, the Parc de Cuitdadella and finishing a short distance from La Rambla. With very few hills or inclines, the course is very flat and fast, and suits first time runners, or those going for a PB. The 2024 route will have only 33 turns (previously 39), making it one of the fewest of any marathon course in the world.

New, exciting route for 2024

Predominately going through the beautiful centre of the city, the 2024 Barcelona Marathon will feature a new route which will include over 15 iconic points of the city. It will begin at the architecturally stunning Passeig de Gràcia and conclude at the Arc de Triomf.
