About the Northern Lights Trek

Discover what lies on the edge of the Arctic Circle and trek some of Europe’s greatest wild landscapes. In southern Iceland, this 3 day trek takes you through a striking mix of geothermal valleys and beautiful mountain scenery, streams and waterfalls. Snow underfoot makes it a challenging walk, but no technical expertise is required, supported by local guides and the expertise of Discover Adventure. 

Staying in a spectacular environment surrounded by wild volcanic landscapes and glaciers, the dark skies offer a great change of seeing the incredible Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights) each evening.
