Yorkshire Marathon

About this event

Ten years on from the very first Yorkshire Marathon, over 90,000 participants have signed up, join our fabulous team and bust a gut for Children with Cancer UK, helping raise vital funds that we invest into specialist research to save the lives of every child with cancer and keep their families together.

Attracted by the opportunity to run through York’s historic streets and surrounding scenic Yorkshire countryside, the marathon course decorates local sights such as York Minster and the ancient city walls.

What to expect from Children with Cancer UK

You can be part of our Yorkshire Marathon team whether you secure your own place independently of the charity or are allocated one of our charity places. When you join our team, you will receive the following support from us;

• A Fundraising Pack containing lots of fundraising advice
• Regular emails to provide top tips
• Your own Team Children with Cancer UK running vest
• A friendly team on hand to support you
